p85 Instead, you remember, on a level you cannot even identify, how absolutely wonderful it was when there was no plate at all—and no table. Somewhere within, you are able to recreate the conditions from that other interim state of being. And you choose, in isolated moments, to take a break from the brimming plate to just Be. Eventually, it becomes so obvious that the experience of Isness is so satisfying that Isness becomes one’s priority, plate or no plate. When confronted with that realization, it is clear at a soul level that one may be complete with the table. And one understands that it is perfectly wonderful to just Be even though there is, technically, still a plate in hand.
