For many, that focus shifts at this stage to one in which personal gain takes a back seat to work that emphasizes the higher perspective of the worldview. One is inclined to dedicate the major thrust of one’s life to efforts where the long-term benefit to humanity is the primary consideration. One understands that one’s own personal welfare will be seen to as a by-product of that intent and need not command the primary focus of one’s attention. |
