p374 You can certainly pretend to yourself that you have not tasted what you know you have. You can surely protest your spiritual innocence long after the initiation of your heart. But once awakened, your knowingness will not be forgotten. It will resurface and nudge you into remembrance when you least expect it to. It will emerge with that familiar kindred glow—just to remind you that you have not been forgotten.
