Homes are sold, possessions are given away, and the load is lightened as one’s awareness becomes keenly attuned to the understanding that what is truly of value has little to do with the trappings of material attainment that may once have seemed important. The compulsion to simplify one’s life becomes a dominant theme as one begins to see through the layers of the illusion with the eyes of the witness. |
