| p313 | Know that in giving, the giving is never one-sided. For the giver is equally gifted in ways you have only begun to understand. When you share the reality of your own painful or challenging situations with another being, you have not burdened that being with your problems. You have afforded that being the opportunity to harmonize with you on a common note in a song you both know by heart. When compassion is expressed in earnest, the burden is lightened for each of you. The giver in the exchange always seems to come away from the encounter feeling uplifted for having reached out to someone else in his hour of need. Yet rarely does he understand why. The vibrational dynamics of the exchange allowed for the release of levels of density harbored within the giver’s own energy field, leaving him with a sense of levity. |
