chapter fourteen

Bridging two worlds in one lifetime.
The development of heightened physical senses and psychic abilities.
Perceiving and interacting with other life forms indigenous to this reality.

p123 As one’s senses take on heightened levels of perception, it will be difficult to repress the levels of pleasure possible from the simple act of smelling a flower, for example. The barriers of culture will begin to crumble, as the simple pleasures of existence become powerful focal points of life. The joy of being alive will come into full expression and will be universally undeniable. The priorities of striving for the sake of material gain will begin to erode as one’s heightened sensibilities open one’s consciousness to very different avenues of focus. And the complexities of present-day existence will give way to an emphasis on simplicity—and love.
